Architects, designs and provides technical oversight and direction of the development of Intel cloud software product including system software, frameworks, protocols, algorithms, and applications, as well as software structure and validation direction. Researches and designs optimal endtoend cloud computing software solutions for cloud, cloud native, orchestration, enterprise, edge, IoT, telco cloud, service mesh, networking, microservices, and/or distributed computing. Engages with major customers to understand use cases, participates in open source and standardization industry work to influence architectures and optimize software, and interacts with technologists and product/product managers across Intel to evaluate feasibility of requirements and determine priorities for development. Makes highlevel design choices focused on manageability, scalability, usability, resiliency, availability, security, and/or safety for the software structure, protocols, and algorithms.Qualifications
Applicants should have a
- B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer science / Electronics and Communications or Equivalent with 15+yrs of experience.
- Strong C/C++ , Golang programming skills with experience with modular software design.
- Software Product development experience in Windows/ Linux OS environment
- Strong Expertise in Edge Systems management, serviceability domain
- Experience in Microservices architecture and related software development stack
- Hands-on experience with implementing manageability solutions around BMC/OpenBMC and In-band systems management, including knowledge of underlying hardware and software interactions.
- Proficient with BMC functionalities and out of band management interfaces/protocols such as PECI, Redfish, and IPMI.
- Prolific coder in one or many of the programming languages like C/C++/Golang/Rust with proven track record of building high quality system software.
- Contribution to industry standards like Open Compute (OCP), IPMI, DMTF Standards, and open source is highly desirable.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving ability.
