Job Description
IT Support Technician II
Position Highlights:
The IT Support Technician II provides in-person and/or remote technology support services to team members across the organization. In addition to providing break/fix support, the IT Support Technician II also assists with managing IT inventory, supports projects, and writes documentation for common processes. The IT Support Technician II uses a ticketing system to track and document their work. As an elevated role, the IT Support Technician II provides guidance to level 1 technicians and serves as a point of escalation for technical and operational matters.
Education and Credentials:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Five (5) years’ experience supporting the following hardware: desktops, laptops, thin clients, cellular phones, tablets, and related peripherals
- Five (5) years’ experience supporting Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook and OneDrive
- Five (5) years’ experience supporting networking technologies, including LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN
- Five (5) years’ experience working with Active Directory, SCCM, ticket management software such as ServiceNow, and video communication software such as Zoom
- Two (2) years’ experience of customer service

- Preferred Education : Bachelors Degree
- Preferred Certifications: A+, MCP, MCSA, Dell EMC Proven Professional, Apple Certified Mac Tech
- Preferred Experience: Three (3) years’ experience in a Healthcare IT position, one (1) year of exp supporting Apple Mac Desktops, laptops, ipads, and iphones, one (1) year exp in a level 1, team lead or other elevated role.
